Terms of use

1. Purpose and acceptance

These terms of use govern access to and use of the Aridelle service, available at aridelle.com, published by Eric Mollenthiel (see the legal notice). They are accepted when the account is created; this acceptance is timestamped. The paid subscription is additionally governed by the terms of sale.

2. The service

Aridelle is a private space that helps an individual facing a conflict or a dispute — parental or family conflict, everyday dispute — to:

• record dated facts, notes and conversations;
• gather and organise their documents (labels, per-item visibility);
• prepare their steps: timelines, summaries, factual letters, questions to ask a professional, preparation for an appointment or a hearing.

Keeping the case file is free. A conversational assistant based on artificial intelligence can be enabled by subscription (see the terms of sale).

3. What Aridelle is not

Aridelle is not a law firm and does not provide legal advice.

Personalised legal advice is reserved for legal professionals (French Act no. 71-1130 of 31 December 1971). Aridelle offers an organisation tool and, where relevant, general and documentary legal information (laws in force, procedures, definitions), which cannot be tailored to your particular situation nor replace the advice of a professional.

For any decision affecting your rights, consult a lawyer. If your means are limited, you may be eligible for legal aid or consult a point-justice (legal-aid access point) near you free of charge (tel. 3039).

4. Artificial-intelligence assistant

When you use the assistant, you are interacting with an artificial intelligence, not a human being. Its responses are generated automatically: they may be incomplete or incorrect and must be verified before any use. The assistant relies exclusively on the items of your case file that you have chosen to make visible to it (setting per item: nothing, summary, or full content) and, where relevant, on web searches.

The artificial-intelligence processing is carried out by models provided by Anthropic, under conditions that exclude training the models on your data.

5. Your account

Creating an account requires a valid e-mail address, confirmed via a link sent to that address. You are responsible for keeping your password confidential; two-factor authentication (2FA) is available in your account's security settings. Report any unauthorised access without delay to contact@aridelle.com.

6. Your content and your responsibilities

The content you place (facts, notes, documents, conversations) remains your property. You warrant that you have the right to hold and use it in the course of defending your interests, and you undertake to make strictly personal and fair use of the service: no unlawful content, no disproportionate infringement of third parties' privacy, no use for harassment purposes. Sharing a case file with a third party (a relative, an adviser) is your sole decision and your responsibility.

7. Confidentiality and personal data

Your data is encrypted in transit, hosted in France and is neither used for advertising purposes nor resold. It is not used to train artificial-intelligence models. To exercise your rights, write to contact@aridelle.com (details in the privacy policy).

8. Availability and liability

Aridelle is provided "as is". We do everything possible to ensure a reliable service (daily backups, secure hosting), without being able to guarantee uninterrupted availability. To the extent permitted by law, the publisher's liability cannot be engaged for the decisions you make on the basis of the information produced by the service, nor for indirect damage. Nothing in these terms limits the publisher's liability in the event of gross negligence, wilful misconduct, or infringement of your statutory consumer rights.

9. Duration and closure of the account

The account is open for an indefinite period. You may request the deletion of your account and your data at any time by writing to contact@aridelle.com. The publisher may suspend an account in the event of a serious breach of these terms, after a reasoned notification except in an emergency.

10. Changes to the terms of use

These terms of use may change. Any substantial modification will be notified to you by e-mail at least 15 days before it takes effect; if you refuse it, you may stop using the service and request the deletion of your account.

11. Applicable law

These terms of use are governed by French law. In the event of a dispute, an amicable solution will be sought as a priority; failing that, the French courts will have jurisdiction under the conditions of ordinary law.
